Jess is a native of Denver and started in the body modification industry in 2014, as a piercing apprentice at Davian's Tattoo. She was trained by an ER nurse turned piercer, giving her extensive knowledge in anatomy and infection prevention.  After working as a piercer for a couple years (Blue Door Tattoo, and Urban Element Tattoo), she started a tattoo apprenticeship. Unfortunately, the apprenticeship was never finished and Jess left the industry to work in her degree field. After a couple of years Jess decided she really missed working in the body modification industry, and tried her luck again, with a tattoo apprenticeship.

 

Working at Compass Rose in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Jess was finally on the right track to becoming a tattoo artist! She has since worked at 2 other tattoo shops before moving into her private studio.

Early on, Jess decided that she wanted to be well-rounded, and not pigeon-hole herself into one-style. Jess pushed herself to become proficient in as many styles as possible. She believes that the only way to be successful is to go outside  her comfort zone to learn and grow. Soooo.... bring on any design, in any style!

Jess is also extremely client focused, and strives to provide the most comfortable experience possible! One of her biggest priorities is to ensure that her client's feel heard and respected.
